Race Volunteers Needed!

For the
2010 ACLI Capital Challenge

Wednesday, April 28
East Potomac Park, Washington, DC

Are you looking for a new volunteering opportunity? If so, we need you. If you volunteered for this event in the past, we hope you’ll bring your expertise to the race and join us again this year. If you’re a rookie, we’ll show you the ropes - no experience is needed. Either way, you will have plenty of fun volunteering at this 3-mile race, where U.S. Senators, Representatives, the Executive Branch, the Judiciary Branch, and the media compete against each other to benefit D.C. Special Olympics. The race has a great out-and-back waterfront course in East Potomac Park. It’s just a couple of miles from Capitol Hill, and down the street from the Park Police and park service offices. This course is viewer-friendly and has plenty of parking spaces!
